ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
Ron Julian began working in Law Enforcement at the age of 21. In 1967, he and fellow officer, Gregory Parkin, left public service and opened the first office of National Business Investigations in Fullerton, CA. With a broad client base, their adventures lead them around the country, providing security and investigative services to major corporations and high profile individuals.

Mr. Julian dedicated much of his life to protecting the rights of others and was passionate about defending and fighting for what he believed was right. Ron Julian passed away on November 10th, 1997 at the young age of 57 years old.

The Evolution of National Business Investigations, Inc.

National Business Investigations was established in 1967 by former law enforcement officer Ron Julian, conducting General Investigations throughout Southern California. By the 1990’s, NBI, under the direction of Ron’s son, Michael Julian, had expanded its operations nationally to include a variety of specialized investigations, including General Liability Insurance Defense, Worker’s Compensation Claims and Fraud, Background and Asset Investigations, and general Civil Litigation Support. By this time, NBI had demonstrated its ability to provide a superlative product to a wide variety of clients.

In 2003, NBI acquired DeSoto & Associates, a highly regarded, Southern California investigation agency specializing in Worker’s Compensation investigations.

The merger of National Business Investigations, Inc. and DeSoto & Associates produced a more powerful agency, combining the resources and experience of over 50 years in the industry, allowing NBI to produce higher quality, more economic investigative results.

Also in 2003, Minders Protective Services was created as a division of NBI to provide for the increased demand for professional, highly-trained security specialists (Minders).
